The Management Society (ManSoc) formally ushered in its new set of leaders for Academic Year 2025-2026 during its annual Induction Night with the theme: “IGNISIA: Rise of the New Flame”, held on July 10, 2025 at Plaza San Jose. 

In an interview with the event officer-in-charge, Angel Pintoy shared the inspiration for this year’s theme.

“The theme signifies a renewed spark… ‘Ignisia’ serves as a symbol of leadership awakening—one that seeks to fuel purposeful impact,” she shared.

A key highlight of the program was the formal introduction of the organization’s new executive officers, heads, and alliances through a pinning ceremony. It marked the official turnover of positions from the outgoing to the incoming officers.

Leading the newly appointed officers is Karole Eco as President. Joining her were the Vice Presidents and Directors of each office, respectively named: Charles Barcelon and Renz Galang for Planning,  Angel Pintoy and Lady Jallorina for Organizing, Jelaine Vinuya and Carla Intal for Leading, Earl Salunga and Danielle Condes for Staffing, Charles Santos and Aivan  Basilio for Controlling.

Other key officers were also recognized: Rayana Dela Cruz as Secretary, Juan Santos as Business Manager, Nicos Alfonso as Public Relations Officer, Trish Viadan as Treasurer, and Rose Turla as Auditor.

Committee Heads Andre Abalos for Tech Team, Frank Clemente for Auxiliary, and Kryschia Ocampo overseeing the Creatives Team and committee alliances were likewise formally inducted.

Guiding this year’s term are Mr. Robin Santos as the official adviser, alongside Ms. Michelle Estrella and Ms. Julie Anne Mary Cruz as the co-advisers.

The program began with a warm welcome message from Dr. Carmelita Y. Lao, the School of Business and Accountancy (SBA) Dean, followed by the outgoing ManSoc president, Ms. Aisha Fernandez, who shared her farewell address.

Outgoing officers were also honored during the event. In a separate online interview, outgoing officer Riniel Lopez offered a message to the new team.

“By stepping into these roles today, you are choosing courage, embracing dedication, and embodying the bravery it takes to lead. These are not just values, but the very heart of what it means to be part of the Management Society,” said Lopez.

The ManSoc President also delivered her inaugural address, sharing her vision for the organization. 

“To lead in a way that always puts the students at the heart of everything we do,” Eco further shared, expressing her intention to continue the legacy passed by the previous officers. 

An inspirational message from the founder, Dr. Jess Panlilio, further grounded the evening, reminding attendees of the organization’s mission and the enduring flame that fuels it. Dr. Panlilio also led the official oath-taking of the new officers.

The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Loren Aina Trinidad.

The event was open to all ManSoc members, SBA faculty, administration, and walk-in students from the department.
