The College Student Council – School of Business and Accountancy (CSC-SBA) held its second press conference for the academic year 2025-2026 at the Peter G. Nepomuceno Building (PGN) Room 803 on October 25. 

Led by Governor Harver Sanchez with councilors Ashley Nicdao and Ernest Suing, the conference presented the council’s accomplishments, departmental updates, and plans for the semester. 

During the initial stage of the conference, each of the officers and their respective departments were able to gloss over the accomplishments made during this period. 

The Office of the Governor reported SBA’s championship titles during the Youth Development Days 2025 and discussed outcomes of “The Helm” meetings with the Class Presidents League (CPLs).

Continuing with the Internal Communications Committee under Councilor Nicdao, they highlighted the Raise A Fin feedback system, Teacher’s Day Appreciation, and Enrollment Packet projects. 

Councilor Suing stood in for Councilor Noeh Lasconia to represent the Finance Committee. During the session, the committee acknowledged its failure to submit the required bi-monthly financial statements and assured that financial updates would instead be released through their official Facebook page.

In the absence of Logistics Committee Councilor Ferdinand Perez, Suing led the announcing and disclosing of their inventory list for the semester, summarizing a notable decrease in its inventory after the SBA Days as well as additional categories which were to be published on the official CSC page.

Furthermore, the Community Extension Services Committee, presented by Governor Sanchez, reported on the distribution of exam reviewers through QR codes to streamline the review process and its outreach initiatives in partnership with Juris Orbis.

The committee also mentioned the cancellation of the Bridging Program due to low attendance and confirmed that updates will be posted should it be rescheduled.

In addition, the cancellation of the SBA Concert and SBA Night was announced, citing feasibility and administrative concerns.

The conference ended with closing remarks from the Governor on serving the student body in accordance with the council’s objectives.
