Kumikinang ang mga Bituin: Angelites celebrate Christmas Fair 2025
Holy Angel University (HAU) welcomed the holiday season with the “Paskong Angelite Christmas Fair 2025” and the annual christmas tree lighting ceremony at the Garden of the Epiphany of Angels, November 25.
Despite the morning drizzle, students enthusiastically showcased a variety of food, drinks, and creative booths.
The fair opened with representatives from various departments performing Christmas jingles to launch the festivities. Judges assessed the booths for creativity and excellence, granting awards such as Elixir Master, Broomstick Brilliance, and distinctions for outstanding booth and mini-jingle creations.
Meanwhile, the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony began at 5:30 PM with opening remarks from Holy Angel University Teachers and Employees Union (HAUTEU) officer Angelo Martinez and University Student Council (USC) Vice President Janelle Balingit.
The USC also prepared a short play using the symbolic meaning of Christmas lights. They portray and share the common sentiment of how Christmas was always meant to pierce through darkness and spread the light of joy.
By 6:00 PM, University President Leopoldo Jaime Valdes, together with students, faculty, and members of the Aeta community, lit the Christmas tree, illuminating the HAU campus and ushering in the holiday season..
The illuminated tree marked the start of the festive season and filled the university with holiday cheer. The event celebrated creativity, community, and the spirit of giving, leaving Angelites and guests alike with the warmth of the season.
